GCCL Expands Asia-Pacific Business at Singapore Bio Partnering

[Financial News] GCCL, a clinical trial sample analysis institution, participated in a global bio-partnering event held in Singapore to expand its business in the Asia-Pacific region.
GCCL announced on the 8th that it participated as a platinum sponsor in the 'Asia Bio Partnering Forum 2026 (ABP 2026)' held in Singapore from August 31 to September 2.
ABP 2026 is an event where pharmaceutical and biotech companies, investors, and life science stakeholders from the Asia-Pacific region gather to discuss business collaborations. This year, approximately 650 people attended, and around 2,500 partnering meetings were held.
During the event, GCCL held partnering meetings with global pharmaceutical and biotech companies, contract research organizations (CROs), and local firms and institutions. They discussed potential collaborations centered on sample analysis and analytical method development needed in the new drug development process.
In particular, GCCL identified demand for clinical trial sample analysis in various new drug fields, including mRNA and nucleic acid therapeutics, radiopharmaceuticals, and antibody-based therapies, and explored business opportunities.
GCCL also met with global pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies and clinical trial service organizations based in Singapore to review existing partnerships and discuss ways to expand services. With an economic development agency under the Singapore government, it explored potential collaborations to support new drug development by local biotech companies.
At the event, GCCL operated an exclusive exhibition booth to showcase its clinical trial sample analysis services and analytical method development capabilities. Through its Central Lab, Bioanalytical Lab, and R&D Lab, GCCL provides analytical services needed throughout the clinical trial process, from Phase 1 to Phase 4.
"Through this event, we identified diverse sample analysis needs among new drug development companies in the Asia-Pacific region and discussed concrete cooperation possibilities with global partners," said Choi Yu-hwa, Head of Business Operations at GCCL. "We will turn the network we have built into actual business opportunities and continue to expand cooperation with global CROs and the local bio ecosystem."
Meanwhile, GCCL is a clinical trial sample analysis institution that has secured certification in all areas under the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety's GCLP (Good Clinical Laboratory Practice) standards. It provides services such as clinical trial sample analysis, analytical method development, and consulting to domestic and international pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
