The Jeju Branch of the Korea Tourism Organization, together with the Jungmun Tourist Complex Council, announced on the 8th that it will hold “2026 Jungmun Day” throughout Jeju’s Jungmun Tourist Complex on the 12th and 13th.
Launched in 2023, Jungmun Day is the Jungmun Tourist Complex’s signature regional tourism promotion event, held every fall. This year’s new offerings include the experiential media art theme park “K-Island,” the horror experience exhibition museum “School Ghost Story in Jeju,” and the immersive 3D media art space “ZAROLO MUSEUM.”
Luxury hotels and major tourist attractions within the Jungmun Tourist Complex will also offer visitors discounts of up to 50% during the event.
During the same period, the “Jeju & Kyochon Minivelo Festa” and the “21st Jungmun Seven Fairies Festival” will also take place in the complex. The Minivelo Festa will feature bicycle rides and K-food experiences, while the Jungmun Seven Fairies Festival will present a hologram performance and drone show based on the legend of the Seven Fairies. Festival participants will also be able to visit Cheonjeyeonpokpo Falls free of charge.
Lee Young-geun, head of the Jeju Branch of the Korea Tourism Organization, said, “Through Jungmun Day and festivals linked to the local area, we will extend visitors’ stays and inject vitality into the local economy.”
