【HANOI, Vietnam—Correspondent Kim Jun-seok】Ten Korean startups in the fields of AI, robotics, IoT, and automation will participate in the final round of the Automation World Vietnam 2026 startup IR competition in Hanoi. They will pitch to major investors, including LOTTE Ventures and Vin Ventures.
COEX, the event's organizer and host, announced on the 8th that 10 Korean startups—Robify Lab, EM City, Planningo, OpticMix, SIWONCOAT, SEKA, K Response Robotics, InnoKeep, Irostyle, and TMS Industry—had advanced to the final round of the startup IR program at Automation World Vietnam 2026 (AW Vietnam 2026), which will be held in Hanoi on the 10th.
The selected startups operate across various fields, including smart factories, manufacturing and structural robots, industrial IoT, AI, and advanced manufacturing technologies. They were selected through a document review under an overseas exhibition support program run by the Large and Small Business, and Agricultural and Fisheries Cooperation Foundation, followed by the Startup World Cup Vietnam selection program.
Major venture capital representatives, including LOTTE Ventures and Vin Ventures, will serve as judges for the final IR competition, titled "AW: Beyond Next."
At the competition, Robify Lab will introduce an integrated management and operations solution for autonomous mobile robots. EM City will showcase IoT- and AI-based facility monitoring and industrial safety technologies. Planningo focuses on an AI-powered product image generation and editing solution, while OpticMix is developing a contactless human-machine interface based on 3D vision sensors.
SIWONCOAT has developed Cool Roof coatings that reduce the thermal load on buildings, while SEKA will present AI-based defect detection and production design automation technologies. K Response Robotics provides firefighting, rescue, and disaster-response robots. InnoKeep offers an integrated management solution for manufacturing equipment and maintenance data. Irostyle operates in the fashion and wedding lifestyle sectors, while TMS Industry supplies automation equipment for semiconductor, display, and secondary-battery manufacturing.
The startups advancing to the final round will receive dedicated booths at Automation World Vietnam 2026, along with mentoring to help refine their pitches. One-on-one business-matching sessions between the startups and investors will also be held before the pitching session.
The organizers expect direct networking among Korean startups, investors, buyers, and Vietnamese manufacturers to create more opportunities for investment, proof-of-concept projects, business cooperation, and entry into the local market.
