"An Invitation to a Bizarre World"...Lotte World Collaborates with Junji Ito Collection

LOTTE WORLD ADVENTURE BUSAN is presenting a fall festival themed around the works of Japanese horror manga artist Junji Ito.
Lotte World Adventure Busan announced on the 8th that it will hold the fall festival “Invitation to Bizarre World,” in collaboration with Junji Ito Collection, from the 19th through November 15.
This is the first time Junji Ito Collection’s artistic world has been brought to life in a theme park. The festival is built around the concept of a door opening at Lotte World Adventure Busan to a bizarre world, where a realm of horror unfolds as reality and fantasy become intertwined.
Photo zones and interactive content featuring popular characters from the works, including Tomie and Soichi, will be available, along with collaboration merchandise and food and beverage offerings. Themed spaces incorporating the characters and iconic scenes will allow visitors to experience the works’ distinctive universe.
Meanwhile, the indoor area of LOTTE WORLD ADVENTURE BUSAN will be transformed into the “Mystery Party Zone” starting on the 12th. Various spaces will be designed around the concept of a party hosted by mysterious guests who have arrived at a bizarre castle.
