[Financial News] As Samsung Group’s 2026 second-half open recruitment for new employees officially began on September 8, the Korea TOEIC Committee, affiliated with YBM, urgently scheduled an additional weekday test for September 14 for job seekers who need language scores just before the application deadline.
According to business and education sources on September 8, Samsung Group will accept applications for its second-half entry-level recruitment from that day through September 15. Specific schedules and eligibility requirements may vary by affiliate, so applicants should check the detailed announcement from their preferred affiliate in advance.
The Korea TOEIC Committee decided to administer an additional TOEIC Speaking test on September 14, one day before the application deadline, so test takers can secure English-speaking scores within Samsung Group’s application period.
Scores from the additional test on September 14 will be released immediately on September 15, the application deadline, allowing applicants to use them directly for Samsung Group’s open recruitment. This is expected to provide relief for applicants who have not yet secured a valid score or need to improve their results.
Meanwhile, TOEIC Speaking also reports ACTFL ratings on score reports, based on research by ETS, the organization that developed the test.
