Gwangju Metropolitan City to Hold ‘2026 Integrity Week Integrity Festival’ from the 9th to the 11th

【Financial News Jeonnam-Gwangju = Hwang Tae-jong, Reporter】Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City (Gwangju Metropolitan City) will hold the ‘2026 Integrity Week Integrity Festival’ at Gwangju City Hall and the Muan Government Complex from the 9th to the 11th to promote a culture of integrity in the public sector.
Gwangju Metropolitan City said the festival, held under the theme “Integrity, Uprightness and Wisdom—Integrity Starts Right Now!”, will feature various programs combining integrity education with cultural content to help participants understand the value of integrity in an easy and approachable way.
First, an online “Anti-Corruption and Integrity Training to Prevent Abuse of Power” session will be held for all employees at 2 p.m. on the 9th.
A staff-participation “Integrity Culture Promotion Campaign” will be held at 11 a.m. on the 10th at the Citizens’ Hall on the first floor of Gwangju City Hall. At 2 p.m. the same day, an “Integrity Festival” featuring a special lecture on integrity and cultural content will take place around the Kim Dae-jung Auditorium at the Muan Government Complex.
At 2 p.m. on the 11th, the city will present “Integrity ON,” an integrity concert for employees to enjoy together, in the main conference room on the third floor of Gwangju City Hall.
A Gwangju Metropolitan City official stated, “Along with the launch of the integrated city, we will establish integrity as a core value of our organizational culture and continue to promote various integrity culture initiatives to build an ethical organization that all employees understand and put into practice.”
