K-FINCO Launches AI and Digital Innovation... “Accelerating Work Efficiency”

K-FINCO announced on the 8th that it held a managers’ workshop on the 7th attended by headquarters executives, department heads and branch managers from across the country, and finalized the implementation plan for the “Quick Wins” project.
The project was established to address improvements identified during an interim review of “Vision 2030,” announced in 2021, and to secure momentum for organizational innovation.
The initiative covers four areas: improving member benefits, innovating the association’s operations, AI and digital transformation, and creating new value. Each headquarters division will select tasks that can be implemented quickly and whose results can be verified in the field, with completion targeted within 90 days.
AI and digital technologies will be applied particularly to tasks that have been handled inefficiently. The plan is to improve work efficiency by implementing small changes first and transform K-FINCO into a “digital financial innovation platform.”
The workshop also covered each headquarters division’s implementation strategy and key issues. Participants reviewed progress toward the 2026 management performance targets and discussed the results of revenue and cost monitoring, as well as expense-reduction performance. The review showed that, as of July, both cumulative net profit and expense-budget savings exceeded the targets set in the original plan.
Lee Eun-jae, chairman of K-FINCO, said, “Innovation does not begin with grand slogans, but with tangible changes that people can feel in their daily work.” He added, “Through this ‘Quick Wins’ project, we will boldly eliminate inefficiencies across our operations and fully launch the transition to AI- and digital-based work.”
