Korea Exchange Discusses Corporate Governance Improvements with ACGA and Global Institutional Investors

[Financial News] Korea Exchange (KRX) said on the 8th that it held a roundtable meeting at its Seoul office with the Asian Corporate Governance Association (ACGA) and global institutional investors.
The meeting was attended by 18 global institutional investors, including BlackRock, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Fidelity Investments, Norway’s sovereign wealth fund, Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), APG and Capital Group. KRX explained recent institutional improvements related to corporate governance and shareholder protection, and heard the views of market participants.
KRX plans to actively support government policies aimed at resolving the Korea discount and continue backing listed companies’ efforts to enhance their corporate value.
It also plans to continue communicating with various market participants, including domestic and overseas institutional investors, about progress in improving the corporate governance of Korean listed companies and future plans.
