Mostly Clear Nationwide; Rain to Begin Along Gangwon East Coast in the Afternoon [FN Weather]

[Financial News]  Tuesday, the 8th, will be mostly clear nationwide. However, the skies along the Gangwon East Coast and in mountainous areas, as well as along the East Coast of North Gyeongsang Province, will gradually become cloudy from the afternoon, with rain beginning in Gangwon Province.
According to the Korean Meteorological Administration, rain will begin between noon and 6 p.m. along the central and northern Gangwon East Coast and in mountainous areas. At night, it will spread to the southern Gangwon East Coast and mountainous areas, as well as the northern East Coast and northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang Province. In some areas, the rain will continue until tomorrow afternoon.
Expected precipitation from today through tomorrow is 5–40 mm in the Gangwon mountain areas, 5–20 mm along the Gangwon East Coast, 5–10 mm along the northern East Coast and in the northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang Province, and less than 5 mm on Ulleungdo and Dokdo.
Daytime highs are expected to range from 24°C to 31°C nationwide. Temperatures will rise to 29°C in Seoul, 28°C in Incheon Metropolitan City, 29°C in Suwon, 28°C in Chuncheon, 25°C in Gangneung, 30°C in Daejeon, 30°C in Cheongju, 30°C in Jeonju, 31°C in Gwangju, 29°C in Daegu, 29°C in Busan, and 29°C on Jeju Island. In some inland areas of the central region and Gyeongsang provinces, the temperature difference between day and night will be large, at around 15°C.
People should also be cautious of strong winds and high waves. No strong-wind advisories are currently in effect on land, but advisories may be issued for Geoje and Busan and Ulsan in the afternoon, and for Pohang, eastern Gyeongju, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo at night.
Gale warnings are in effect over parts of the East Sea, South Sea, and waters around Jeju Island. From the afternoon through the night, these warnings may expand to parts of the central West Sea, East Sea, and South Sea. Strong swells will also move into the East Coast, the southern coast of the Gyeongsang region, and the coast of Jeju Island.
The Seoul metropolitan area will be mostly clear today, while rain will begin along the East Coast from the afternoon. Coastal areas should be prepared for strong winds and high waves.
