[Financial News] EDIYA COFFEE announced on the 8th that it would launch six "street-food snacks," including familiar treats such as hotteok and bungeoppang, for the winter season.
The new products were developed to broaden consumers’ choices by adding new flavors and combinations to familiar snacks. The lineup features a variety of options, from sweet desserts to hearty items that can serve as a meal substitute.
The street-food snack lineup consists of six varieties: Ssiat Hotteok, Japchae Hotteok, Pizza Hotteok, Red Bean Fish-Shaped Pastry, Custard Cream Bungeoppang, and Ham and Cheese Egg Bread.
Ssiat Hotteok combines savory seeds and nuts with sweet brown sugar. Japchae Hotteok is topped with a generous serving of japchae to make it more filling, while Pizza Hotteok offers a distinctive flavor with cheese and pizza toppings.
The company is offering the winter staple bungeoppang in two varieties—red bean and custard cream—so customers can conveniently enjoy it at its stores. It is also introducing Ham and Cheese Egg Bread, made with savory ham and rich cheese.
An EDIYA COFFEE representative said, "Winter street-food snacks are familiar treats that have been loved for a long time, as well as desserts that capture Korean flavors and sentiments. We hope you will discover the appeal of familiar winter snacks in a new way through street-food treats featuring new flavors and combinations."
