Coupang Holds 'Chuseok Festa' for Wow Members, Offering Discounts on More Than 80,000 Products

[Financial News] Coupang will hold a large-scale discount event, 'Chuseok Festa,' for Coupang Wow members through the 27th ahead of Chuseok.
According to Coupang on the 8th, more than 70 major brands will participate in the event, offering discounts on more than 80,000 products. The event will feature products across 15 categories, including Rocket Fresh fresh foods, food, household goods, home appliances and digital products, home interior items, beauty products, kitchenware, fashion apparel and accessories, pet supplies, and maternity and baby products.
Coupang will operate themed sections, including the 'Main Deals Zone,' which brings together special-offer products; the 'Gift Shop,' targeting Chuseok gift demand; the 'Grocery Shopping Zone' for preparing holiday meals; and the 'Holiday Fun Zone,' featuring products for use during the holiday break. It will also offer recommendation sections such as 'New Gift Sets.'
The category-based gift recommendation sections will feature products such as food, daily necessities, and home appliances and digital products, organized by purpose and price range. A Chuseok advance-order event will also be held for fresh food and processed-food gift sets.
Coupang will also hold a 'Brand Day' event through the 23rd. Each day, featured products from a different brand will be offered with special benefits for one day. Major domestic and international brands, including Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Apple, Dyson, Nike, and Adidas, will participate.
A Coupang official said, "Chuseok Festa is designed to allow customers to conveniently purchase everything they need in one place, from preparing for the holiday and buying gifts to shopping during the holiday break." The official added, "We hope it will be a good opportunity for Wow members to prepare for Chuseok at reasonable prices."
