Celebrating 'Youth Day'... Haeundae District, Busan, Hosts Youth Week Festival

[Financial News] Haeundae District, Busan, announced on the 8th that it will hold the '2026 Youth Week Festival' at the Haeundae Culture Center from the 19th to the 23rd to commemorate Youth Day on the 19th.
The slogan for this year's festival is "Youth, Here and Now." It provides a venue to support young people living their lives today—from those taking a brief rest to prepare for the future to those embarking on new challenges and striving toward their dreams—and to foster interaction among them.
The event will feature a Youth Day commemorative ceremony, a talk concert, and a mentoring concert for employment at global and large corporations. It will also run with a variety of programs, including an audience-participatory improvisational musical, various hands-on activities, and booths for youth policy counseling and promotion.
First, a talk concert with musical actor Kim Ho-young will be held at Haeun Hall on the afternoon of the 19th. Kim Ho-young plans to share stories of the choices and critical moments, as well as challenges and growth he experienced while working as an actor, with young people.
A global and large corporation employment mentoring concert will be held at Haeun Hall in the afternoon of the same day. Seventeen former and current employees from global companies, including Nike, Inc. and Amazon.com, Inc., as well as major domestic corporations such as Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and SK hynix, will participate as mentors to conduct special lectures on employment and an employment talk show.
Following this, participants will spend time providing practical employment information through customized mentoring sessions where current employees and young people meet in small groups to share opinions on companies, job roles, and the job preparation process. Stories based on the employment experiences of local professionals and specific job roles will also be shared to assist young people in their job preparations.
The youth improvisational musical "Oops" will be performed at the Goun Hall of the Cultural Center. "Oops" is an audience-participatory performance in which actors create the story, dialogue, and songs on the spot based on keywords and ideas suggested by the audience, without a pre-determined script, lyrics, or sheet music.
In addition, various experience booths will be operated. Programs are prepared to help participants explore their image and discover their own life mottos through one-day classes, such as personal color analysis, job interview makeup experiences, bone structure diagnosis, aromatherapy, and calligraphy. The youth policy counseling booth will provide information on policies and support programs necessary for young people, including employment, housing, and welfare.
