Ssangyong Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. Signs Contract for Donam-dong Community Housing Project Worth 215 Billion Won

[Financial News] Ssangyong Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. has signed a construction contract for a station-area housing project in Donam-dong, Seongbuk District, Seoul. The total construction cost is 215 billion won.
According to Ssangyong Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. on the 8th, this project involves constructing a complex of 574 residential units across seven buildings ranging from six underground floors to 29 above-ground floors, along with neighborhood living facilities and community support facilities, on a 13,043.35-square-meter site in the area of 624 Donam-dong. The contract was signed on August 31.
The multi-unit housing consists of 102 units measuring 50 square meters, 286 units measuring 59 square meters, 28 units measuring 70 square meters, and 158 units measuring 84 square meters. A total of 410 units for cooperative members, 49 units for general sale, and 115 units for public rental are scheduled to be supplied.
The project site is located in a station area adjacent to Gireum Station on Seoul Subway Line 4. Convenient living facilities such as hospitals and large supermarkets are available around the nearby Gireum New Town.
Meanwhile, Ssangyong Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. has recently been expanding its housing order performance, primarily in Seoul. Following the Hongeun-dong Street Housing Redevelopment Project and the Street Housing Redevelopment Project in the area of Noryangjin-dong's Eunha Mansion, the company has successively secured projects this year, including the Street Housing Redevelopment Project in the area of 46-1 Changjeon-dong, Mapo.
