According to KOSME on the 8th, the program enables overseas private-sector networks to act as local branches for small and venture companies that have difficulty establishing offices abroad. They provide export marketing and market-entry support.
The overseas private-sector network currently consists of 124 organizations operating in 32 countries worldwide.
Through this recruitment drive, KOSME plans to select 145 organizations in 35 countries.
The recruitment covers 21 fields across four areas: market development and transaction support; marketing, distribution and logistics; local laws and regulations; and growth and innovation support.
KOSME plans to give preference to organizations with proven performance in promising countries or specialized fields where the overseas private-sector network is insufficient.
Organizations wishing to participate must apply through the Overseas Branch Office Support Program website by the 28th.
Park Jang-hyeok, KOSME’s director of global growth, said, "In a rapidly changing global market, overseas private-sector networks are a key driver of the successful establishment of Korean small and venture companies in local markets. We look forward to the active participation of organizations with excellent local expertise and infrastructure."
