SDS Presents Its “Multi-Dimensional AI Full-Stack” Strategy, Officially Accelerating Its Entry Into RX

[Financial News] SDS officially announced its entry into the RX (robotics transformation) business and unveiled a roadmap to expand the scope of AI transformation (AX) from the digital realm to physical manufacturing sites. The company plans to accelerate more advanced AX services while strengthening global partnerships.
On the 8th, SDS held the enterprise AX conference “REAL Summit 2026” at the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center in Seoul. Based on its “Multi-Dimensional AI full-stack” strategy, the company presented specific execution plans and a roadmap to narrow the gap between AI adoption and the creation of tangible business results.
In his keynote speech, SDS CEO and President Junehee Lee emphasized, "AX represents a far more fundamental change than simply adopting AI to save time and costs. It means completely redesigning the business and the way work is done from the ground up." He added, "Companies that achieve AX move before customers even speak and respond in real time, rather than analyzing the market and reacting afterward. AI changes work, but AX changes business."
■Strengthening Global Partnerships Through “Multi-Dimensional AX”At this year’s REAL Summit, SDS announced a strategy to provide each customer with optimized AX through its “Multi-Dimensional AI full-stack.” The full-stack combines AI infrastructure, AI platforms and AI solutions with end-to-end capabilities spanning consulting, development, implementation and operations, as well as industry expertise accumulated across various sectors. Rather than simply providing AI technology, SDS plans to diagnose customers’ business challenges, apply the technologies and solutions best suited to each company’s circumstances, and connect them to tangible AX results.
In this regard, SDS is expanding its cooperation with global frontier AI companies. The company is building a global AI ecosystem covering AI models, platforms, infrastructure, solutions and security in collaboration with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Cloud Platform, NVIDIA and Accenture. In particular, after becoming the first company in South Korea to establish a strategic partnership with Anthropic in July to support AX among Korean companies, SDS is now moving to jointly identify new AX businesses that combine the two companies’ technological capabilities and business expertise.
Following its provision of consulting on the adoption of ChatGPT Enterprise to multiple customers under a partnership agreement with OpenAI—the first such contract involving a Korean company—SDS will also become the first Korean company to participate as a pilot partner in OpenAI’s Daybreak Partner Program. SDS’s specialized FDEs and security experts will implement the service directly at customer sites.
■RX Business Expansion AcceleratesSDS is also validating the conversion of manual work at manufacturing sites through combinations of robotic hardware and physical AI. Beginning in 2027, it plans to fully launch a “robot orchestration platform” that connects and operates production equipment and robots as one system. The company is also expanding cooperation with global physical AI partners to automate various manual tasks at manufacturing sites, including through a strategic partnership with global humanoid robotics specialist Walden Robotics.
In June, SDS established the RX Business Team and RX Execution Team within its Cloud Services Division to lead the automation and intelligent transformation of physical sites, going beyond the digital transformation of large-scale manufacturing processes. The company said it is accelerating the commercialization of RX by forming the “Team REX (Robotics Excellence)” robotics partnership to standardize interfaces between different robots and establish common performance standards. Ten leading global physical AI companies, including Rainbow Robotics, Walden Robotics, AeiROBOT and NdotLight, have joined the Team REX partnership and are building an RX ecosystem. In particular, SDS has entered into a strategic investment and cooperation agreement with Walden Robotics, a full-stack physical AI company founded by former Toyota Research Institute researchers, to jointly identify key use cases and validate technologies for manufacturing sites.
■Cowork Evolves Into “AI That Does the Work”The event also featured successful AX cases from various industries. SDS introduced “Cowork,” a new AI function of Brity Works. Cowork goes beyond simply searching for or recommending information. When users assign a work objective, it independently plans the necessary tasks and carries out the entire work process, including researching materials, writing reports, sending emails and registering schedules. SDS also unveiled Brity Works Cowork, a more powerful AI service within the AI-based collaboration solution Brity Works, and plans to officially commercialize it in October. It represents an evolution from “AI that finds answers” to “AI that does the work.”
An SDS official said, "Brity Works Cowork is an enterprise AI agent that understands an individual’s work context, connects with a company’s data and systems, and performs actual tasks." The official added, "Starting with its launch in October, we will enhance the productivity of businesses as well as government ministries and public institutions that have recently been actively adopting Brity Works, while jointly innovating the way they work."
