[Financial News] EMRO, Korea’s leading AI-based supply chain management software company, will supply its small modular reactor (SRM) software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution, Caidentia, to a leading European energy solutions company.
EMRO announced on the 7th that it recently signed a solution supply agreement with an overseas subsidiary of SDS. Under the agreement, EMRO will supply its SRM SaaS solution, Caidentia, to Company A, a leading European energy solutions company, through SDS’s overseas subsidiary. The project will also implement Company A’s core procurement processes based on the solution.
EMRO will provide Company A with various Design-to-Source functions covering the entire process from new product development to quality planning and management and sourcing. These include an AI-based automatic bill of materials (BOM) comparison and analysis function, which has earned recognition for its technological capabilities after being applied to the procurement systems of a leading global PC and server manufacturer.
As growing volatility in global markets has increased the importance of strategically building supply chains and managing costs from the new product development stage, Company A is expected to further strengthen its quality and price competitiveness by establishing an AI-based Design-to-Source process through EMRO’s Caidentia.
With this agreement, EMRO has secured its first customer in Europe, one of the key target markets for its global business alongside North America. Having already secured three customers in North America, EMRO plans to accelerate its sales activities targeting European companies, using Company A as a reference.
EMRO is currently conducting solution demonstrations for automotive and technology companies in Europe. It is also pursuing additional projects with North American customers that have already adopted Caidentia.
An EMRO official said, "Since fully launching its overseas expansion in 2024, Caidentia has built a strong track record by securing leading global companies in key industries across the North American and European markets as customers. As its global recognition has also grown through inclusion in reports by global market research firms and winning the Red Dot Design Award, we will use this agreement as a starting point to expand our overseas business into Europe, Asia and other regions, further solidifying our position in the global SRM solutions market."
