On the revamped home screen, you can view your accounts grouped by type. Even if you have many accounts, similar types are grouped together, allowing you to check the status of multiple accounts at a glance without extensive scrolling.
Card, credit information, and investment items, which previously had to be checked in separate tabs, have also been added to the home screen. You can check key financial information, such as card usage amounts, credit score changes, and investment returns, as soon as you launch the app.
It also provides a customizable editing feature that displays only the accounts and services customers want on the home screen, allowing them to configure their own "home screen." By selecting "Edit Screen" at the bottom of the screen, users can directly choose which accounts and services to display and freely change their order. It is also possible to hide the balances for each account.
In just over nine years since its launch, KakaoBank Corp has grown into a "lifestyle-oriented" financial platform used by more than 20 million customers every month. The number of daily clicks generated through the home screen alone reaches an average of 10 million, with over 90% of these occurring for account management and transfers.
"We have strengthened personalization features to allow customers to view key asset information at a glance and customize their home screens to suit their individual financial lifestyles and usage patterns," KakaoBank Corp stated. "Going forward, we will continue to enhance usability as an everyday financial platform by prioritizing customer convenience."
Meanwhile, as of the end of June this year, KakaoBank Corp had 27.63 million customers, with approximately 1 million new customers joining in the first half of the year alone. In the second quarter, the number of monthly active users (MAU) was 20.32 million and the number of weekly active users (WAU) was 15.04 million, maintaining robust customer activity.
