CJ CheilJedang Bio Opens Asia-Pacific Technology Hub in Singapore... Expanding Taste Solution Business

【Jakarta (Indonesia) = Correspondent Aulia Maulida Hamdani】 CJ CheilJedang Bio (CJ BIO) is opening a new global technology center in Singapore and expanding its food taste solution business, focusing on the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
According to local media reports on the 7th, CJ BIO announced that it opened a 'Global Technical Center' for its taste solution business at the Singapore Biopolis Research and Development (R&D) Hub on the 1st.
This center is CJ BIO's fourth global technology center, following those in Korea, the United States, and the Netherlands. In particular, it is scheduled to serve as a key hub for providing technical support and product application solutions to customers in the APAC region.
From the 2nd to the 4th, CJ BIO invited key customers from neighboring countries to introduce the center, major products, and food application solutions. The Global Technical Center plays a role in developing technologies to apply CJ BIO’s taste solution products, such as 'TasteNrich', 'CJ TIDE', and 'Add-Mi', to various food products of client companies, and supporting the commercialization of finished products.
Oh Il-young, Head of the CJ BIO T&N Business Division, said, "Through the opening of the Singapore Global Technical Center, we are now able to cooperate more closely with customers in the APAC region," adding, "Based on our differentiated technology and product competitiveness, we will introduce solutions that provide both excellent taste and health benefits."
CJ BIO is strengthening its push into the global taste solution market with 'TasteNrich'. Produced by fermenting naturally derived ingredients, TasteNrich is a product that helps reduce the use of sodium and additives while maintaining flavor. CJ BIO's strategy is to develop the taste solution business into a future growth engine by expanding its product line and strengthening customized solutions for customers.
