Korea Arboreta and Gardens Institute Pledges to Strengthen Proactive Administration and Integrity Culture

[Financial News] The Korea Arboreta and Gardens Institute (KAGI), an organization under the Korea Forest Service (KFS), held its September Employee Communication Day at Sejong National Arboretum on the 7th. The institute said it shared plans to provide arboretum and garden services that people can experience firsthand, based on proactive administration and integrity.
That day, KAGI recognized the July Han Su-jeongin of the Month, outstanding cases from its proactive administration competition, and employees who excelled in using AI. It also shared exemplary successes and model cases of failure during the proactive administration process, emphasizing the spread of a challenging organizational culture.
The institute also reiterated the importance of preventing the four major forms of violence, including sexual harassment and sexual violence, and practicing integrity. It agreed to ensure the smooth completion of key tasks planned at the beginning of the year and to make every effort to advance major projects in the second half, including the Korea Garden Show and the garden development project on Jeju Island.
In addition, during the Chuseok holiday, KAGI plans to offer various cultural and experiential programs as well as free admission, allowing everyone to enjoy arboretums and gardens with their families.
Shim Sang-taek, president of KAGI, said, "Faithful implementation of the basics builds public trust." He added, "We will do our utmost to provide K-Arboretum and Garden services that people can experience firsthand by practicing proactive administration based on safety and integrity."
