"From Shibuya to Shinjuku"—Mom’s Touch Opens Sixth Japanese Location, Accelerating Franchise Expansion

[Financial News] Mom’s Touch is relocating its Japanese corporate office and expanding local store openings as it launches a full-scale franchise business in Japan.
According to industry sources on the 7th, Mom’s Touch recently moved the office of its Japanese subsidiary, Mom’s Touch Japan, from Shibuya to Shinjuku in Tokyo Metropolis and opened its sixth local store, the Shinjuku Park Tower branch.
The Shinjuku Park Tower branch, which opened that day, occupies the first basement level of Shinjuku Park Tower, about a five-minute walk from Shinjuku Chuo Park and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. Reflecting its location amid large office buildings and business facilities, the store will target office workers during weekday lunch hours and after work.
Mom’s Touch has also moved its Japanese corporate office and training store from Shibuya to Shinjuku, consolidating key business functions—including franchisee training and operational support—in one location. The company plans to establish Shinjuku as a hub overseeing its local franchise business.
Mom’s Touch plans to continue opening new locations in major residential and commercial areas across the Tokyo metropolitan area, including Itabashi in Tokyo, Sagami-Ono in Kanagawa Prefecture, and Kuki in Saitama Prefecture. Building on store-management expertise proven through its company-operated locations, the company aims to secure 100 stores in Japan by the end of 2027.
A Mom’s Touch representative said, "If Shibuya was the starting point where we introduced the brand to Japanese consumers and demonstrated the potential of our local business, Shinjuku is a strategic base for expanding our experience and expertise into franchising." The representative added, "We will continue to refine our business model to optimize it for the Japanese market based on local data."
