[Financial News] Hanyang Institute for Entrepreneurship (HIE) at Hanyang University will host 'Partner Connect' on the 17th at Novotel Ambassador Seoul Gangnam, together with 15 metropolitan universities and startup-support partner organizations, including the corporate venture capital consortium (CVC Club) and the Association of Early-Stage Investment Accelerators.
About 160 people are expected to attend, including young entrepreneurs, prospective startup teams, investment reviewers from corporate venture capital (CVC) firms, venture capital (VC) firms and startup accelerators (AC), as well as representatives from universities and startup-related organizations.
Partner Connect is the final-day program of 'Campus Connect Week,' which involves 15 metropolitan universities. It is being held as part of the Startup-Centered University Program supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (KISED).
The main programs include a joint corporate venture capital investor relations (IR) session, a partner organization forum and networking events.
At the joint corporate venture capital IR session, 23 startups recommended by nine metropolitan universities will present their business ideas and growth strategies to investment reviewers. The participating companies will also discuss potential business cooperation with investment and partner organizations at dedicated booths.
The partner organization forum will feature special lectures on startups and investment, as well as presentations of joint business proposals from participating organizations.
