Video Showings Featuring the Bridge to Be Held Beneath Incheon’s Cheongna Haneul Bridge... Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority to Operate Nighttime ‘Media Lounge’

【Financial News Incheon = Han Gap-su, Reporter】 The underside of Cheongna Haneul Bridge in Incheon is being transformed into a giant video screen.
The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority announced on the 7th that it will operate the nighttime video-content program ‘Media Lounge (MEDIA LOUNGE)’ beneath Cheongna Haneul Bridge starting on the 8th to mark the fall season.
Media Lounge is a nighttime program that uses the expansive space beneath the bridge deck like a giant screen, allowing visitors to enjoy videos alongside the surrounding scenery. After sunset, videos will unfold against the sea and bridge, creating a nighttime view of Cheongna Haneul Bridge unlike its daytime landscape.
The first screening will feature a video themed around the ‘four seasons.’ It captures seasonal landscapes and moods, from spring’s bright scenery and summer’s freshness to autumn’s rich colors and winter’s tranquil atmosphere. The video will be screened four times daily between 7 and 8 p.m.
The authority plans to adjust screening times as sunsets come earlier in the fall. Operating hours and the number of screenings will be adjusted flexibly depending on weather and visitor conditions. During periods of significantly lower temperatures, the authority will decide whether to operate the program based on weather conditions and other factors.
Another feature is that no separate viewing facility has been installed, allowing visitors to watch the videos naturally from the walking path. Citizens can pause during walks around Cheongna Haneul Bridge to watch the videos displayed beneath the bridge.
The authority plans to add content reflecting seasonal changes and local characteristics, developing the nighttime scenery of Cheongna Haneul Bridge into a signature attraction.
