HanmiGlobal and Heerim Architects & Planners Win PM Contract for Eunma Town Apartments, a Symbol of Gangnam Reconstruction

[Financial News] HanmiGlobal, a construction project management (PM) company, announced on the 7th that it has formed a consortium with Heerim Architects & Planners and has been selected as a construction project management partner for the reconstruction of Eunma Town Apartments in Daechi-dong, a symbol of reconstruction in Seoul's Gangnam area.
Completed in 1979, Eunma Town Apartments is a representative large-scale complex in Daechi-dong known for its excellent educational environment and transportation accessibility. Following the approval of the integrated review for the redevelopment project last February and the approval of the project implementation plan in July, the project has entered the full-scale execution phase. The goal is to begin construction in 2028, after undergoing procedures such as the approval of the management disposition plan and relocation and demolition. The complex is set to transform from its current scale of 4,424 units across 14 floors above ground into a large-scale complex comprising 29 buildings ranging from 6 underground floors to 49 above-ground floors, with a total of 5,850 units.
The HanmiGlobal and Heerim Architects & Planners Consortium is responsible for overall construction project management during the pre-construction phase prior to groundbreaking. Its core mission is to objectively verify construction costs and contract conditions before the association signs the final contract with the contractor, and to devise cost-saving measures through Value Engineering (VE) and economic feasibility reviews during the design phase.
HanmiGlobal has proven its expertise by reducing construction costs through cost management in numerous urban renewal projects, including the redevelopment of Yongsan International Building Zones 4 and 5. Currently, it is carrying out CM for large-scale urban renewal projects in Seoul and Busan, such as Apgujeong District 3 Reconstruction Zone, Hannam District 3 Redevelopment Zone, Hannam District 4, and Namcheon Samick Beach.
