[Financial News] Kim Min-seok, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, said in a floor speech by the leaders of negotiating groups at the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea on the 7th, "We will pursue constitutional revision alongside political reform." He added, "While upholding the procedural spirit of the current Constitution and laws, we will pursue realistic and feasible constitutional revision that reflects the changes of the times and the demands of the people."
He continued, "Including 5·18 and the Busan–Masan Uprising in the Constitution's preamble will be the starting point for constitutional revision," adding, "Reform of the power structure should go as far as the people want."
