[Financial News] Netmarble Corporation is launching the 26th cohort of its university student supporter program, “Marvel Challenger,” which provides students with practical experience in game-industry content production and event planning.
Netmarble Corporation announced on the 7th that it had held the launch ceremony for the 26th cohort of its university student supporter program, “Marvel Challenger.”
“Marvel Challenger” is an extracurricular program for university students that began in 2013. It has produced a total of 235 graduates through its 25th cohort. According to Netmarble Corporation, 60% of participants eligible for employment, including fourth-year students and above, found jobs in the game industry.
The newly selected 26th cohort will participate in the program for approximately six months, through February 2027. Participants will gain practical experience by creating promotional content for new media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram, writing official posts, analyzing trend reports, and planning and executing Netmarble Corporation’s online and offline events.
Participants will receive a monthly activity stipend and opportunities for mentoring from industry practitioners. Those who complete the program will receive certificates and preferential treatment in the document-screening stage when applying for jobs at Netmarble Corporation in the future.
Kim Dong Hwan, head of Netmarble Corporation’s Creator Strategy Team, said, “Starting with promotional activities for titles exhibited at Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2026, we plan to operate the program so that the supporters can gain practical mentoring as well as experience in AI content planning and production, enabling them to grow into talent for the game industry.”
