‘Cookie Run: Card Collection’ Opens Pre-Registration Ahead of October 10 Launch

[Financial News] Devsisters is opening pre-registration for ‘Cookie Run: Card Collection,’ a Roblox game based on the trading card game (TCG) ‘Cookie Run: Braverse Card Game.’ In addition to its core features of collecting and upgrading cards, the game will incorporate random number generation (RNG) elements popular in Roblox games to offer a differentiated user experience.
According to industry sources on the 7th, Cookie Run: Card Collection will center on simple gameplay in which users randomly obtain cards at set intervals. They will also be able to interact with other users by displaying cards they have customized and using cards in battles.
The project is being jointly developed by Devsisters and Versework. Versework is Asia’s largest user-generated content (UGC) developer, creating a variety of games on Roblox. It develops and operates its flagship title, ‘Sol’s RNG,’ which has surpassed 2 billion cumulative plays.
Devsisters officially launched its Cookie Run card game in North America last July. By combining physical cards with the digital platform Roblox, the company aims to attract new user groups and explore opportunities to expand its intellectual property (IP) ecosystem.
Cookie Run: Card Collection will be officially released worldwide on October 10 and will support Korean and English.
