LIG D&A to Attend Europe’s Largest Defense Exhibition, Highlighting Its Reputation as a Guided-Weapons Leader

[Financial News] LIG Defense & Aerospace (LIG D&A) will target the Polish defense market at Europe’s largest defense exhibition, showcasing Cheongung-II, the Long-range Surface-to-Air Missile (L-SAM), and the Korean GPS Guided Bomb (KGGB).
LIG D&A announced on the 7th that it will participate in International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) 2026, held in Poland from the 8th to the 11th, and present defense solutions tailored to the country’s military modernization needs.
At this year’s exhibition, the company has identified Poland’s multilayered air-defense network project and the KGGB project as key strategic priorities. It will display an integrated air-defense solution centered on Cheongung-II and L-SAM, along with aircraft armaments such as KGGB.
As threats from aircraft and missiles continue to grow more sophisticated, LIG D&A plans to use the exhibition to demonstrate that it is the optimal partner for Poland in building the dense, comprehensive air-defense system its military needs, while further strengthening their strategic cooperation.
The company will also strengthen cooperation with global defense companies. At Rheinmetall AG’s booth, LIG D&A will display a short-range air-defense missile and a vehicle-mounted launcher mock-up developed through cooperation between the two companies. Based on these efforts, it plans to expand joint business opportunities in European and global defense markets.
A LIG D&A representative said, "Participating in MSPO 2026 will go beyond simply displaying products and serve as an important opportunity to elevate defense cooperation with Poland to the next level." The representative added, "By providing optimal solutions needed by the Polish military, including multilayered air-defense networks and KGGB, we will enhance the standing of K-Defense and expand our foothold in the European market."
