10% Discount on Purchases of 150,000 Won or More with Kakao Pay Money... Kakao’s Chuseok Discounts

[Financial News] Kakao announced on the 7th that it will run various Chuseok promotions through KakaoTalk Gift and Kakao Talk Deal.
KakaoTalk Gift will hold a Chuseok special exhibition through the 27th. It features a diverse selection of products popular during the Hangawi season, including weekly special prices, popular gifts, premium products, real-time rankings and category-based recommendations. Users can choose products according to their budget and the recipients of their gifts, such as parents, relatives and acquaintances.
Customers who pay at least 150,000 won with Kakao Pay Money for delivery products in the special exhibition will receive an immediate 10% discount, capped at 20,000 won. Kakao will also hold a Chuseok greeting-sharing event offering random discount coupons of up to 90%. Users can share a message with an acquaintance on the special exhibition page, and a coupon will be issued when the friend who receives the message accesses the page.
The selection includes representative holiday foods such as Nonghyup Ansim Hanwoo, Supflin premium fruit sets and Jayeonae Sangju dried persimmons, as well as popular health-related brands such as Cheong Kwan Jang and Orthomol.
Kakao Talk Deal will run its “Gangchu Autumn Week” from 5 p.m. on the 14th through the 20th, allowing users to prepare items needed for holiday grocery shopping at reasonable prices. During the event, the living, health and beverages, fresh foods, and processed foods categories will open sequentially, with different products offered each day at discounted prices. A 7% discount will also be available when customers pay with Kakao Pay Money.
Meanwhile, Lux, KakaoTalk Gift’s luxury-gift specialty section, will also hold a Chuseok promotion through the 27th. It has prepared category-based recommendations and curated selections from popular luxury brands, including fragrances and body products, gourmet food, fresh foods and hotel dining vouchers. Five users who purchase Lux products during the event will be selected by lottery to receive 500,000 Kakao Shopping Points.
