History Book Capturing Hana Financial Group's Growth Wins Gold Award at International Business Awards

[Financial News] Hana Financial Group announced on the 7th that its "20-Year History of Hana Financial Group," which captures its "Hana-style" growth journey, won the Gold Award in the publishing category at the "2026 International Business Awards (IBA)," the world's most prestigious business awards ceremony.
"Hana Financial Group 20-Year History," which won the Gold Award in the publishing category at this competition, is the group's first integrated history book produced to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the group's launch. It authentically captures the founding spirit of independence, autonomy, and initiative, "sincerity toward customers and society," and the story of Hana that has pioneered new paths.
It newly compiles the 55-year journey of challenges and growth, from the establishment of the group's predecessor, Korea Investment Finance Corporation, in 1971 to the conversion into Bank of Hope and the launch of Hana Financial Group.
"A Hana Financial Group official stated, 'This history book is the first corporate history to integrate and organize the footprints of all affiliates, capturing the history of continuous innovation rooted in the 'Hana identity.' It is meaningful in that it fully encapsulates the sincere journey of Hana employees who have strived 'for the sake of customer joy, that one,' as well as the growth DNA of Hana, in a single volume.'"
The International Business Awards, organized by the U.S. Stevie Awards, marked its 23rd anniversary this year. It comprehensively evaluates business activities, including management, growth, and public relations, carried out by companies and organizations worldwide over the past year. This year, over 3,800 entries from 82 countries competed for the awards.
Meanwhile, Hana Financial Group begins a new chapter in its history by fully commencing its relocation to Incheon's Cheongna International City this month. The direct and indirect economic impact on Incheon Metropolitan City over the next 10 years resulting from Hana Financial Group's move to Cheongna is estimated at approximately 3.4 trillion won.
