Korea Transportation Safety Authority Holds Drone Experience Event with Gimcheon Residents

[Financial News] The Korea Transportation Safety Authority (TS) successfully concluded a drone experience event held with Gimcheon-si.
TS announced on the 7th that it held the First Gimcheon Drone Experience Event from the 4th to the 5th at the Gyeongbuk Gimcheon Drone Qualification Center.
The event was held for 200 Gimcheon-si residents, including students and families. As part of its social contribution activities, TS has been expanding facility tours and drone experience programs for young people.
The event was divided into student and family participation programs. It featured a range of activities, including drone piloting theory lessons, 3D simulator flight experiences, and first-person-view drone piloting, allowing residents to experience drones firsthand. Rather than limiting participants to observation or theoretical instruction, the hands-on programs enabled them to operate drones themselves, understand how they work, and learn about their various applications.
Chairman Yong-Sik Jung emphasized, "TS will continue to actively share its specialized facilities and expertise in the drone sector with local communities and create ongoing opportunities for residents to experience drones in their daily lives."
