[Financial News] i-SENS, Inc.'s blood glucose monitoring system brand 'CareSens' won the Grand Prize in the blood glucose meter category at the 'Brand of the Year 2026' awards.
Global biosensor company i-SENS, Inc. announced on the 7th that CareSens received the Grand Prize at the 'Brand of the Year 2026' awards, hosted by the Korea Consumer Brand Committee and organized by the Korea Consumer Forum.
The Brand of the Year awards are a ceremony that selects the brand representing the year through consumer voting. With this win, CareSens has extended its record of winning for 14 consecutive years.
Since introducing the CareSens brand in 2003, i-SENS, Inc. has been developing blood glucose management products centered on blood glucose meters (BGM). Leveraging accurate measurement performance and quality, the company has expanded its business into overseas markets by supplying products to more than 114 countries in addition to the domestic market.
Recently, it has also entered the continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) market. CareSens Air, launched in September 2023, is a product that allows users to check real-time blood glucose changes by attaching a sensor to the arm and transmitting blood glucose information to a smartphone app every five minutes.
Another feature is that it allows users to share blood glucose data with healthcare providers, enabling the data to be used for blood glucose management. By expanding its product line from a business centered on self-monitoring blood glucose meters to continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), the company is expanding its presence in the blood glucose management market.
"Winning the Brand of the Year award for 14 consecutive years is the result of consumers consistently recognizing our product quality and technological capabilities," said an official from i-SENS, Inc. "Moving forward, we will continue to enhance consumer satisfaction through the development of user-centric sensors and strengthen our position in the global blood glucose management market."
