German Startup Successfully Launches Rocket into Space... First Commercial Success in Europe

[Financial News] German space startup Isar Aerospace succeeded in launching a commercial rocket into orbit for the first time from the European continent on the 5th (local time).
Isar Aerospace successfully launched the unmanned rocket 'Spectrum' from Andøya Space in the Norwegian Arctic on this day and entered orbit.
Spectrum was designed to transport small and medium payloads, and this launch carried five small satellites and in-flight technology testing equipment.
Isar Aerospace celebrated on X, "We have entered orbit. We have made European history."
Isar Aerospace succeeded in entering orbit on its second attempt after failing its first launch from the same launch site last March.
Europe has previously relied on the Guiana Space Centre in French Guiana and U.S. SpaceX for satellite launches. This successful launch is considered a significant opportunity for Europe to expand its own satellite launch capabilities within the region.
