[Financial News] Busan Bank announced on the 6th that it held a reopening ceremony on the 4th for Chansaemi Small Library after improving its aging facilities in Yeongdo District, Busan.
Chansaemi Small Library is a community-based cultural space where local residents and children have been able to access books nearby and participate in various cultural activities. However, years of operation had led to aging facilities, leaks, and damage to the exterior sign, making improvements necessary to create a better reading and cultural environment.
Busan Bank, together with Busan Transportation Corporation and ChildFund Korea, renovated the library’s exterior sign and facade and upgraded its facilities, including the installation of automatic doors, leak prevention measures, and exterior painting.
Because a bus stop is located directly in front of the library, the bank also created a shelter at the entrance where residents can comfortably wait for public transportation. In addition, it provided cultural books so that the library could serve not only as a place to read but also as a community cultural space where local residents can naturally spend time and interact.
A Busan Bank official said, "We hope the newly renovated Chansaemi Small Library will become a place where children nurture their dreams through books and a warm community gathering place where local residents share culture and connect in their daily lives. We will continue to provide practical support programs that local residents can feel the benefits of."
