Mayor Oh said, “The Seoul International Fireworks Festival is being held as autumn cultural and arts events, including Frieze Seoul and Seoul Art Week, get underway, and it will create wonderful memories for domestic and international visitors to Seoul. I hope you will enjoy the Seoul International Fireworks Festival together with Seoul’s citizens.” He added, “I would like to thank the public officials, police officers, firefighters, and volunteers who worked to ensure that people could enjoy the festival safely and orderly, as well as the people of Seoul for demonstrating mature civic awareness.”
