"When Your Blood Sugar Drops During a Run, Reach for Seolleim"... Lotte Wellfood Holds Seolleim Run

[Financial News] Lotte Wellfood announced on the 6th that it held the unique running festival “2025 Seolleim Run” on the 5th at Misa Gyeongjeong Park in Hanam-si, Gyeonggi Province.
About 3,300 people took part in the event, which drew a large crowd. In particular, webtoon artist and broadcaster Kian84 made a surprise appearance at the finale, running alongside participants and further energizing the atmosphere.
Kian84 is known as a Seolleim brand model who enjoys running in his spare time. 
Seolleim Run was designed as more than just a running event. Participants could cool down and shake off the heat built up during the run by enjoying Seolleim at points along the course. They replenished their sugar at refreshment stations along the route before continuing toward the finish. 
A university student identified only by his surname, Kim, who participated with friends, said, "Running in the hot weather was tough, but holding a cold Seolleim while running made the heat disappear as if by magic and lifted my spirits." He added, "You need sugar when running, so I really liked the concept of eating Seolleim during the run."
The grass plaza at the finish line was transformed into a huge festival venue. After completing the course, runners crowded around the Seolleim Studio photo wall to take Life4Cuts photos. The event was not limited to people in their 20s and 30s; parents participated with elementary school children, and attendees in their 60s and older added to the excitement. 
A participant in his 60s, identified only by his surname, Lee, said, "I am in Class 6, Grade 7 (67 years old), and I have usually had opportunities to run with younger people. I was happy to take in that youthful energy through this event."
The Best Dresser awards, which recognized participants wearing unique and entertaining costumes, further raised the energy at the venue. Families who completed the course while pushing strollers also added warmth to the event.
One participant, identified only by his surname, Lee, drew attention by attending in a full-body duck costume despite the sweltering heat. He said, "I wore the duck costume and came despite the hot weather to become the Best Dresser." He added, "I definitely plan to come back next year to become the Best Dresser again," prompting cheerful laughter.
