Yong Hye-in fallout reaches Kim Hyun-ji, too... People Power Party attacks her over "personnel manipulation"

[Financial News] The fallout from the campaign to force the withdrawal of Yong Hye-in, the nominee for Minister of Gender Equality and Family, has reached Kim Hyun-ji, Chief of the First Presidential Secretariat. Suspicions are spreading rapidly after it became known that Seo Yong-ju, director of the Mac Politics and Society Research Institute and former standing deputy spokesperson for the Democratic Party of Korea, remarked on the 4th, "The personnel line is Kim Hyun-ji."
Representative Jang Dong-hyuk stated on Facebook on the 5th, "The conversation held before the JTBC YouTube broadcast was transmitted in its entirety. It is a confession by Seo Yong-ju, the former deputy spokesperson for the Democratic Party of Korea." He also said that, since it was something that could not be said on air, it must have been discussed beforehand.
Representative Jang continued, "Kim Hyun-ji, Chief of the First Presidential Secretariat, is the mastermind behind 'Mansahyeontong' and the Blue House's 'behind-the-scenes power broker.' Not only her alma mater but even her hometown is shrouded in mystery. Rumors of her involvement with the Gyeonggi Eastern Alliance have also been raised."
Representative Jang claimed that the selection of Candidate Yong was not a random occurrence, but rather a build-up by Chief Kim's 'leftist cartel.'
Various allegations were also raised against Candidate Yong. These include allegations of involvement with the Labor Party's underground organization, advocacy for homosexuality in the military, support for the Queer Parade, policies concerning non-consensual rape and abortion medication, and other alleged connections.
Representative Jang said, "President Lee Jae Myung said he would 'take care of the left,' but hasn't he gone too far to the left?" He added, "But yesterday, the reason for that came out."
Representative Jang further wrote, "It seems Candidate Yong will not step down willingly. With a powerful insider backing her, she appears determined to hold out until the very end," adding, "I am furious, but on the other hand, I am thankful. Because eventually, everything will collapse at once."
Candidate Yong entered the National Assembly in both the 21st and 22nd terms through proportional-representation coalition parties led by the Democratic Party of Korea.
The People Power Party retorted, "These were not seats obtained through direct party votes under the name of the Basic Income Party. Is it truly appropriate to cling to the parliamentary seats obtained through votes for the proportional-representation coalition party now, claiming that the Basic Income Party must maintain its parliamentary status?" The People Power Party also pointed out that it should be examined how the government subsidies received on the basis of that parliamentary status were used.
The People Power Party pointed out that although the Basic Income Party's official policy research institute received approximately 400 million won in policy research subsidies, its accounting records showed only about 15.46 million won in policy development expenses over six years, and there were even reports that the party's policy development expenses for the first half of this year were zero.
Meanwhile, the Democratic Party of Korea urged Representative Jang to immediately stop his conspiracy-theory politics. Through its press bureau, the party emphasized, "The person involved explained that the remarks made on the YouTube broadcast were a joke, and the broadcaster also corrected the facts, stating that personnel matters at the Presidential Office are handled by the Senior Secretary for Personnel."
They countered that disguising a denied joke as a 'confession' and adding the labels 'behind-the-scenes power broker,' 'Gyeonggi Eastern Alliance,' and 'leftist cartel' to complete a grand conspiracy was a carbon copy of the delusion surrounding election fraud.
