[Financial News] A customer who posted a video on social media claiming that he found hair in his food reportedly deleted it without apologizing after the restaurant owner confronted him.
Customer Paid and Left Without Complaining, Then Posted a Review That Identified the Restaurant

On the 4th, JTBC's 'Incident Chief' introduced the story of informant A, who has operated a Chinese restaurant in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, for four years.
A discovered a review video posted on social media by a man who had visited the restaurant on the 27th of last month. The video claimed that the restaurant was hot inside and that the staff's attitude was unsatisfactory. It also alleged that hair had been found in the food.
Alarmed, A shared the video with the employees, who checked the CCTV footage from the time the customers had visited. The man and woman shown in the footage stayed for about 37 minutes, eating sweet-and-sour pork and jajangmyeon while drinking soju and beer. Near the end of the meal, however, the footage captured a suspicious scene.
The woman appeared to pick out several strands of her own hair. The man picked up something from the trash can and raised a toast, then placed his left hand over the bowl of jajangmyeon and appeared to drop something into it.
A claimed, "It appears that they put the hair in while raising a toast." A added, "All the employees working in the kitchen and dining area were wearing hats at the time."
Owner Who Found Signs That a Foreign Object May Have Been Planted Hires Lawyer for 'Legal Action'

The two customers left without informing the staff that they had found a foreign object, complaining, or requesting a refund. They later filmed the restaurant's exterior and its surroundings before posting a related video on social media the following day. The video received more than 100 comments, and the restaurant's location was reportedly identified after a nearby subway station and the restaurant's sign were shown.
After reviewing the CCTV footage, A sent the man a message to the effect of, "We have secured CCTV footage showing you directly putting the foreign object in the food. Please delete the video." A claimed that the man then deleted only the video, without offering any explanation or apology.
A said, "The video made it possible to identify our restaurant and contained the false claim that hair had been found in the food. There should have been an explanation, but he simply deleted the video, which is infuriating." A added, "If he had sincerely apologized, I might have let it go. I don't understand why he behaved this way."
A ultimately hired a lawyer and plans to pursue civil and criminal legal action.
