[Financial News] The Kim Young-sik Three-Child Birth Support Foundation, chaired by Kim Young-sik, announced on the 5th that Song Yu-rim, director of ‘Tumyeongkkot,’ a cultural complex in Danjang-myeon, Miryang City, Gyeongsangnam-do, donated KRW 10 million to help address the low birth rate and support families with three children.
The cultural complex ‘Tumyeongkkot’ was created as a place where visitors can enjoy culture, art and relaxation amid nature. It features a library, exhibition spaces, meditation facilities and multipurpose areas.
The site is used as a space for healing and communication within the local community, hosting a variety of cultural and educational programs.
Song Yu-rim said, "I believe our society should come together to support families who have and raise children. I hope this donation will provide even a little help to families with three children and contribute, however modestly, to resolving the low birth rate."
The KRW 10 million donation will be provided to families with three children under the name of ‘Song Yu-rim, Director of Tumyeongkkot’ through a childbirth congratulatory payment program scheduled for December.
In June, the Kim Young-sik Three-Child Birth Support Foundation provided KRW 100 million to families with three children through its 17th childbirth congratulatory payment program.
The foundation has so far provided KRW 1.979 billion to 977 families, helping create a society where having and raising children is easier through continued support for families with newborns.
