U.S. President Donald Trump said on July 4 (local time) that the United States could soon attack “Gokgwaengi Mountain,” an alleged underground Iranian nuclear facility.
He also claimed that the conflict with Iran was small potatoes and no different from the military operation in Venezuela.
Attack on Nuclear Facility at “Gokgwaengi Mountain”

At a White House signing ceremony for executive orders, Trump said, “Iran will not have a nuclear weapon,” adding, “We may strike Gokgwaengi Mountain soon.” He qualified the statement by saying, “If something is going on there.”
Gokgwaengi Mountain is a fortified facility that Iran is building deep underground in the Zagros Mountains, near the Natanz nuclear facility in central Iran. It was not directly hit during U.S. and Israeli airstrikes in June last year.
The facility is built more than 100 meters underground in solid granite bedrock, leading experts to assess that it would be difficult to destroy even with the U.S. GBU-57 bunker-buster bomb. The GBU-57 can penetrate up to 60 meters.
Trump also said in July that Iran may have moved its nuclear centrifuges to Gokgwaengi Mountain, stating, “Perhaps very soon, we will hit that area very hard.”
Not a War but Intermittent Clashes... “Small Potatoes”

He claimed that the conflict with Iran was not even a war. Calling it a “military confrontation,” he said, “That’s small potatoes for us.” He continued, “I would call this intermittent. We attack Iran intermittently,” adding, “We are not fighting right now. There is no battle.”
He also argued that there was little difference between the Iran conflict and the U.S. military operation that brought Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro Moros to the United States. Calling the Iran conflict “not a big deal,” he said, “We did it in Venezuela, and now we did this”—referring to the military operation against Iran.
Trump also claimed, “There are absolutely no mines” in the Strait of Hormuz, adding, “They had some mines, but we removed all of them with minesweepers.”
