【Berlin, Germany—Reporter Im Soo-bin】IFA Berlin 2026, Europe’s largest consumer electronics exhibition, opened on September 4 local time. Several prominent figures visited the LG Electronics booth, experienced its AI home solutions, and praised them.
That day, Berlin Mayor Stefan Evans visited the LG Electronics booth as the final stop on the IFA booth tour. While viewing the ‘LG AI Orchestra’ attraction, he said, "I was deeply impressed by the booth and the CLOiD presentation," and asked specific questions about features such as whether the robot can fold laundry and whether a training center is operated.
After viewing the entire exhibition, Berlin Mayor Stefan Evans praised it, saying, "It was the perfect booth to bring the IFA Berlin 2026 tour to a close."
LG Electronics set up its booth at the front of Messe Berlin, the main venue for IFA Berlin 2026, and significantly expanded its product lineup from last year. The company focused on generating business results at IFA, whose influence is expanding beyond Europe into neighboring regions such as the Middle East and Africa. To that end, it displayed a wide range of B2B solutions using packages such as AI home and built-in products, along with products in the volume zone.
Messe Berlin, the main IFA exhibition venue, is a massive complex with approximately 190,000 square meters of exhibition space and more than 40 exhibition and event halls. It is roughly the size of 26 soccer fields, each measuring about 7,140 square meters, and is more than five times the exhibition area of the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center in Seoul. Walking from one end to the other takes about 30 minutes.
Around 60 Korean companies, including LG Electronics, mid-sized companies such as Coway, Cuckoo Electronics, SK Magic, and Hurom, as well as venture companies, registered to participate in this year’s IFA. LG Electronics was found to have built the largest exhibition booth among them.
