Korea Financial Investment Association Appoints Korea Investment & Securities CEO Kim Seong-hwan as Non-Executive Vice Chairman

[Financial News] Kim Seong-hwan, CEO of Korea Investment & Securities, has been appointed as the new non-executive vice chairman of the Korea Financial Investment Association.
The Korea Financial Investment Association said on the 4th that it held its first extraordinary general meeting of 2026 and appointed Kim as its non-executive vice chairman. His two-year term will run from September 5 through September 4, 2028.
Born in 1969, Kim graduated from the Department of Economics at Korea University (KU) and completed the doctoral program at the Graduate School of Real Estate at Konkuk University. At Korea Investment & Securities, he served as head of the investment banking (IB) group and head of the retail client group before becoming CEO in 2024.
