Late Actor Lee Yong-ju Said, "I Had No Talent, but I Wanted to Do It" in Tearful Confession

[Financial News] A video of the late actor Lee Yong-ju, who died last month, has resurfaced online. In the video, he opened up about his hopes for a career in broadcasting and his personal struggles.
Lee Yong-ju died suddenly of a heart attack on the 29th of last month. He was 44 years old.
As tributes continue to pour in, a video in which he spoke about his dreams of appearing on television during his lifetime has once again drawn attention online.
In a video released four years ago, Lee Yong-ju reflected on his more than 10 years of broadcasting activities while drinking alone. He said, "I was involved in broadcasting for more than 10 years, but I don't think I was ever able to do it comfortably."
Lee Yong-ju also spoke about the gap between his passion for broadcasting and reality. He said, "There are so many people who are truly talented. I don't have talent, but I've always thought that I wanted to do it. There are things you're good at, and things you want to do. When I talk to people, they say, 'You should do what you're good at,' but I think that is really sad."
Lee Yong-ju eventually broke down in tears in the video. He said, "I want to do what I want to do, but being good at something is the right answer. That's how you have to live in this world. It's not as if you can simply succeed by doing what you want, is it?" He added, "I didn't live my life by working that hard. I took it too lightly."
Viewers who watched the video left messages of condolence. They mourned him with comments such as, "Thanks to actor Lee Yong-ju, I got through my 20s without feeling lonely. I hope you rest peacefully in a better place," "Goodbye. My eternal Sinbyeong," and "My eternal youngest private in Blue Tower."

The late actor, who began his career as a model, made his acting debut in 2004 with a minor role in the film *Doma Ahn Jung-geun*. He later appeared in MBC's *Hello, Francesca*, tvN's *Ugly Miss Young-ae*, and SBS's *Two Women's Room*.
