Late Actor Lee Yong-joo Said, "I Had No Talent, but I Wanted to Do It" in Tearful Confession

[Financial News] A video of late actor Lee Yong-joo, who passed away last month, is being revisited online. In the video, he opened up about his desire to pursue a career in broadcasting and his personal struggles.
Lee Yong-joo died suddenly of a heart attack on the 29th of last month. He was 44.
As tributes continue to pour in, a video in which he spoke about his dreams of appearing on television during his lifetime has resurfaced online.
In a video released four years ago, Lee Yong-joo reflected on his broadcasting career, which had lasted more than 10 years, while drinking alone. He said, "I had been doing broadcasting for more than 10 years, but I don't think I was ever able to do it comfortably."
Lee Yong-joo also spoke about the gap between his passion for broadcasting and reality. He said, "There are so many people who are truly good at it. I don't have talent, but I've always thought that I wanted to do it. There are things you're good at, and there are things you want to do. When I talk to people, they say, 'You should do what you're good at,' but I think that is really sad."
Lee Yong-joo eventually broke down in tears in the video. He said, "I want to do what I want to do, but being good at something is considered the right answer. That's how you have to live in this world. It's not as if you can simply succeed by doing what you want, right?" He added, "I didn't live my life by working that hard. I took it too lightly."
Viewers who watched the video left messages of condolence. They mourned him, writing, "Because of actor Lee Yong-joo, I got through my 20s without feeling lonely. I hope you rest peacefully in a better place," "Goodbye. My eternal New Recruit," and "My eternal youngest private in The Blue Tower."
The late actor, who began his career as a model, started acting with a minor role in the 2004 film *Doma Ahn Jung-geun*. He later appeared in MBC's *Hello, Francesca*, tvN's *Ugly Miss Young-ae*, and SBS's *Two Women's Room*.
