Acting Police Chief Kim Jongcheol Inspects Yeouido Fireworks Festival Site: “Ensure Thorough Crowd Safety Management”

[Financial News] Acting Commissioner General of the Korean National Police Agency Kim Jongcheol visited the Yeouido fireworks festival site to inspect safety-management measures against accidents caused by crowding and traffic congestion.
The Korean National Police Agency said Kim chaired a countermeasures meeting and inspected safety-management measures during his visit to the Yeouido fireworks festival site on the 4th.
This year’s fireworks festival will be held over two days, divided into a pre-event and the main event for the first time.
Kim ordered thorough preparations to prevent safety accidents, as large crowds are expected to gather. He also called for meticulous management to prevent traffic disorder around the event site.
