[Financial News] Lotte Hi-Mart is introducing Samsung Electronics' new smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, both online and offline nationwide.
According to Lotte Hi-Mart on the 4th, the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE features selected artificial intelligence (AI) and camera functions from the Samsung Galaxy S26 series while reducing the price burden. To mark the launch, Lotte Hi-Mart is offering customers who purchase the unlocked model various benefits, including its own mobile plan, the Hi-Mart Plan, a cash compensation service for used phones, and L.POINT rewards.
The Hi-Mart Plan is Lotte Hi-Mart's own mobile plan, introduced on July 30. Its key feature is that professional counselors at offline stores nationwide assist customers with everything from applying for the plan to activation and setup. Customers who purchase the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S26 FE can receive a data plan with at least 30 GB of data for 7,900 won per month for one year.
Lotte Hi-Mart is also operating a cash compensation service for used phones, paying customers based on the model and condition of the device they return. Customers who return a Galaxy S25 FE (256GB) can receive cash compensation in the low 400,000-won range, depending on the product's condition.
Customers who purchase the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE by the 10th will receive 10,000 L.POINT. Through a Samsung Electronics promotion, they will also receive a 30% discount coupon for cases and accessories, as well as a two-month subscription to Willa, an integrated reading platform.
Lotte Hi-Mart is continuing to expand its mobile products and services. Alongside offering mobile products from global brands such as Motorola of the United States and Nothing of the United Kingdom, it is strengthening related services, including its own mobile plan and Hi-Mart Mobile Care. The coverage of Hi-Mart Mobile Care has also been expanded from damage to include loss, theft, and battery replacement.
Lotte Hi-Mart plans to continue expanding mobile products and services, which have relatively short replacement cycles, to broaden its points of contact with customers.
Eon-Seok Lee, head of Lotte Hi-Mart's Smart Appliances Division, said, "We hope customers will experience the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE in person at Lotte Hi-Mart stores and receive the plan benefits as well." He added, "Going forward, Lotte Hi-Mart will strengthen products and services across the mobile sector, including products from various brands, plan benefits, and care services, to expand our points of contact with customers."
