Krafton to Host PUBG Mobile National Team Evaluation Matches

[Financial News] Krafton will assess the PUBG Mobile national team's competitive performance ahead of the Asian Games. The evaluation matches will feature national teams from overseas, including China and Chinese Taipei, giving the players international experience as they prepare for the main event.
Krafton and KeSPA announced on the 4th that they will jointly host the Asian Games PUBG Mobile National Team Evaluation Matches.
The evaluation matches will be held in two rounds. The first round will take place online from September 5 to 6, and the second from September 12 to 13, with both rounds starting at 7 p.m. Each round will consist of 12 matches, with six matches played per day. The maps will be played in the following order: four matches on Erangel and two on Miramar. The existing PUBG Mobile esports scoring rules, which combine placement points and kill points, will apply.
The evaluation matches will use a 12-team format, the same as the Asian Games. The participants will include the South Korean national team, national teams from China and Chinese Taipei, and teams participating in the Korea Esports League (KEL).
The South Korean national team roster includes Kim Jun-ha, Sang-cheol Park, Song Su-an, Jeon Hyun-bin and Jung Yoo-chan. Through the evaluation matches, the team plans to gain practical experience in an international-level competitive environment and assess its performance and teamwork ahead of the Asian Games.
The tournament will be livestreamed on the official PUBG Mobile esports YouTube and TikTok channels, as well as the Korea e-Sports Association's official YouTube channel and Soop.
