Soop enters the round of 16 in the 'Google Play ASL Season 22'...Main competition begins on the 7th

[Financial News] Soop is entering the round of 16 in the 'Google Play AfreecaTV StarCraft League (ASL) Season 22.'
Soop announced that it will host the first-week round-of-16 matches of the 'Google Play ASL Season 22,' played on StarCraft: Remastered, on the 7th at FreecUP Studio in Daechi-dong, Seoul.
The round of 16 will begin with Group A matches on the 7th. Park Sang-hyun, Kim Yoon Joong, Doh Jae Wook, and Yoo Young Jin will compete for spots in the quarterfinals. In Group B, held on the 8th, Shin Sang Moon, Ggaemo, Jaedong, and ZerO will face off.
The second week will continue with Group C on the 14th and Group D on the 15th. Group C consists of Lee Jae Ho, Jung Young Jae, Kim Min-chul, and Jo Il-jang. In particular, three players with previous ASL championship experience—Lee Jae Ho, Kim Min-chul, and Jo Il-jang—have been placed in the same group, raising expectations for fierce competition. Jang Yoon Chul, Kim Jae-hyun, Lee Young-han, and Kim Jung-woo will compete in Group D.
The first and second matches in each round-of-16 group will be single games played on the three-player map Aiolos. For the winners' match, losers' match, and final match, each player bans one map from those excluding Aiolos, and three of the remaining maps are drawn. These matches are played in a best-of-three format.
All matches will be held offline at FreecUP Studio starting at 7 p.m. Live broadcasts and VODs will be available on Soop's esports page.
