[Financial News] Dunamu, the operator of the virtual asset exchange Upbit, reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening compliance management.
According to the virtual asset industry on the 4th, Dunamu held a declaration ceremony for its strengthened Fair Trade Compliance Program (CP) at Nest Hotel Incheon on the 3rd. Kyungseok Oh, CEO of Dunamu, and other key executives and employees attended the ceremony.
The ceremony followed a pledge ceremony for practicing compliance management held in June. It was organized to establish specific guidelines that field leaders must follow.
Participants pledged to actively implement four core guidelines: establishing fair trade by prohibiting unfair demands and the exercise of undue influence; complying with the Fair Trade Act when contacting business associations and competitors; prioritizing user protection by providing objective and accurate information; and completely preventing instructions to violate fair trade laws within the company, as well as any acts of aiding or abetting such violations.
In his remarks, CEO Kyungseok Oh emphasized, "Establishing a transparent trading order and creating a sound virtual asset market begin with leaders setting an example."
Dunamu has focused on advancing its related policies and systems since introducing the CP last year. It plans to conduct regular training and publish an internal newsletter going forward.
