Doosan Enerbility Conducts Field Response in Nepal for a Week, Using Helicopters and Drones for Search

[Financial News] Doosan Enerbility has continued efforts to rescue its employees in Nepal for a week. The company is searching the area affected by the massive floods using private helicopters and drones.
Doosan Enerbility dispatched a field-response team to Nepal on August 28 and has been searching through the 4th for employees who remain out of contact.
The field-response team consists of about 20 people and is led by Jeong Yeon-in, vice chairman and CEO. In South Korea, the company has activated an emergency task force at its headquarters in Bundang, Gyeonggi Province, led by Lee Dong-su, head of the EHS division and a senior vice president.
Doosan Enerbility conducted its first helicopter search in Nepal on August 31. It searched the area above the Upper Trishuli-1 Hydropower Project, including the office buildings, as well as the downstream section of the river, all of which were hit by the massive floods. The company also applied to Nepalese authorities to operate a helicopter and continued the search that day. It is also reviewing and analyzing footage captured by drones.
As of now, six Doosan Enerbility employees in Nepal remain out of contact.
