VISANG Education’s Teacher-Created Educational Videos Surpass 360,000 Views

[Financial News] Region-linked educational content produced by VISANG Education in collaboration with current teachers has received an enthusiastic response from schools, surpassing 360,000 cumulative views.
VIVASAM, VISANG Education’s teaching and learning support platform, announced on the 3rd that it had released 13 episodes of “A Remarkable Journey Through Textbooks,” a video series jointly planned and produced with the teacher group Sangsang Geurida Film. The initiative moves away from one-way, company-led content production. Instead, it involves current teachers directly from the planning stage to develop customized teaching support content optimized for actual classroom settings.
The series features current teachers visiting major locations featured in VISANG textbooks and providing in-depth introductions to their history, culture, and notable figures. Covering multiple subjects, including social studies, science, art, and music, the interdisciplinary content can be used not only in regular classes but also for subject-linked projects and creative experiential activities, significantly expanding its usefulness as learning material.
The videos produced so far cover 13 major locations across the country: Gyeongju, Suwon, Jongno District, Gongju, Buyeo, Jeju Province, Gwangju, Jeonju, Incheon, Daejeon, Andong, Yeongju, and Gangneung. VISANG Education plans to release videos covering two additional regions within the year and continue expanding its lineup of region-linked content.
Jeong Do-haeng, a teacher and head of Sangsang Geurida Film who participated in the production, said, "We wanted to visit meaningful places featured in textbooks and connect the stories from those sites with the subject matter." He added, "We hope the videos will become living educational resources that can be used immediately in class, rather than content focused simply on entertainment."
Heo Bo-wook, head of VISANG Education’s Content Company, emphasized, "Teaching support content that provides practical help to teachers begins with accurately identifying the needs of schools." He added, "We will continue to expand and supply customized content for classrooms through active collaboration with teachers."
Meanwhile, VIVASAM is holding a participatory event for users through September 30 to mark the release of the content. The videos are available through VIVASAM’s official YouTube channel and its regional resources library.
