[Financial News] Sky Labs was up more than 16% on its first day of listing on KOSDAQ.

At one point, it climbed as much as 29.70%, nearly reaching the daily price limit.
Sky Labs is a digital healthcare company that measures and manages blood pressure with a ring-shaped wearable medical device. Unlike conventional blood pressure monitors that use a cuff wrapped around the arm, the company’s ring-shaped device continuously monitors blood pressure.
Its core technologies include a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor that detects changes in blood flow by shining light onto the skin, as well as an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm for analyzing biosignals. The company also has technologies for ring-shaped medical device hardware and software that links medical data.
Its main products are CART BP pro, a blood pressure monitoring device for hospitals, and CART BP for personal use. CART BP pro transmits blood pressure data measured by its PPG sensor to the cloud, allowing medical professionals to use it for patient treatment and management.
Alongside medical device sales, Sky Labs is also pursuing a data-driven healthcare platform business that collects and analyzes biosignals to support patient management at medical institutions.
In South Korea, CART BP pro is expanding its supply to hospitals and clinics after receiving medical device approval from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and coverage under the national health insurance system. Overseas, including in Europe and the United States, the company is pursuing medical device approvals and building distribution networks. In the long term, it plans to expand into an integrated healthcare platform company combining medical devices and data services.
